RESERVATIONS & VISA PROCEDURE :
We need confirmed booking minimum of 2 weeks in advance, along with a clear photocopy of the passport.

It is always better to carry 04 passport size photographs + us dollars denominations.

For Tibet visa, a group of minimum of 5 pax is a must for the private tour. However, if the tour is on group joining basis, we book individual travellers too.

Visa can be obtained from the Chinese Embassy from your home country or in Kathmandu. We obtain Tibet travel permit from our agent in Lhasa.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE :

CANCELLATION :

60% of the tour cost if you cancelled in writing the tour within 7 days prior to Tour Date.
No refund, thereafter, also for no shows, delay arrivals or whatsoever reason.

IN ORDER TO avoid last minute disappointments, we require your authority to issue Airticket for Lhasa sector with an 100% advance payments for the full tour amount required at least 3-4 weeks. It is very important to take into note that, once the air tickets issued once are non-refundable, non-reroutable and non-transferable. In case of the cancellation of the tour, there shall be no refund against the air tickets.

ACCESS :

By air : Kathmandu - Lhasa Flight & V.V. ( 1 hour flight)

By road : Kathmandu - Kodari 118 Km. ( Nepal Tibet Border - 3 -4 hours)

Visa : The Chinese Embassy does not issue Visa for Tibet for Individual traveller. If there is a single tourist or a tourist group of less than 05 persons then they will have to join a group in order to get a visa.

CLOTHING

Casual wear and comfortable walking shoes are the rule for Tibet. Be sure to bring warm
clothing as nights and early morning can be quite chilly to sown right cold in winters.
Bring all the film, medicine, cosmetics, personal toilet items, etc. that you will need from
home as these are difficult if not impossible to obtain in Tibet. A small first aid kit is also
a good idea. Also quite useful is a Kathmandu - Lhasa route map, to know where you
are going and have been each day.

ALTITUDE SICKNESS:

As you are travelling over high terrain, you are likely to experience some of the minor symptoms and discomfort of altitude sickness (headache, loss of appetite) until your body adjusts to the elevation. This can take from a few drink plenty of non alcoholic liquids. Proper Oxygen on the overland Tour to Lhasa.

CURRENCY

The unit of currency is Yuan. US$1=8Yuan. Money can be exchanged at the Bank of China in Zhangmu, Xigatse & Lhasa.

AIRPORT TAX

This airport departure tax at present is US$16 per person.

Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot. Full insurance against medical and personal accident is highly recommended. A cancellation insurance is also suggested and you travel on your own risk at all times.
