DARJEELING - SIKKIM

Duration: 8 nights / 9 days

Day 01: Fly Kathmandu / Bhadrapur. Meet on arrival and drive to Darjeeling via Kakarvitta
( 4 hrs. 30 min. approx.)

Overnight at Hotel

Day 02: Full Day sight seeing of Darjeeling along with a visit to the Tiger Hill for an early morning Sunrise Excursion along with Ghoom Monastery on return. Sight seeing continues after breakfast.

DAY 03 : JAPANESE TEMPLE/PEACE PAGODA : Full day sightseeing tour.

A recent lank mark built by Japanese monks worth a visit. LAL KOTHI Near to the Japanese Temple.It houses the office of the Chairman of the Gorkha Hill Council.Its well kept lawns,artificial waterfalls and ponds along with a fantastic view of the Kanchendzonga Range,it a great view. DIRDHAM TEMPLE - Just below the Railway Station lies this beautiful Shiva Temple.

Day 4: Drive to Pemayangtse in the Western part of Sikkim via the famous Tukvar Tea Gardens along the riverside of Rangeet. On arrival check into hotel(Approx.120 kms -5 hours)

Day 5: Visit Pemayangtse Monastery after breakfast and drive to Kheocheplari Lake and drive to Yuksom, the trekking base of Sikkim and historically very important-sightseeing. Lunch and return to Pemayangtse in the evening (80 kms - 6 hours)

Day 6: Drive to Gangtok the Capital town of Sikkim via Rabongla and the famous tea gardens of Sikkim,Temi Tea Estate. Check in at the hotel.(120 kms-5 hours).

Day 7: Cherry City tour of Gangtok after breakfast includes the Enchey Monastery , Cottage Industries along with visit to Research Institute of Tibetology and the Do Drul Chorten.(35 kms/4-5 hours) Lunch: Visit to Rumtek Dharma Chakra Centre, Kaygu Headquarters and return.

Overnight at Hotel

Day 8: Visit Phodong Monastery in the North Sikkim highway and enroute also visit the Labrang Monastery, return to Gangtok in the evening.(45 kms x 2 =6 hours)

Overnight at Hotel
