POKHARA - situated 200 km
far from Kathmandu, a 5 hours leisurely drive
will bring you to a bewitching foothills of
Annapurna massifs and Fishtail Mountian. About
800m above sea level, POKHARA Valley offers
you a chain impressive view of the Himalayas
from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu, Annapurna range
and , of course, the Machhapuchhre or Fish
Tail mountain.
DAY 01 :
Today you will be met by one of the Worldways
representatives who arranges your drive
from Kathmandu to Raft starting point -
Muglin - 2 hours 30 min.
( subject to change) and commence 1 full
day raft in the famous Trisuli River.
On arrival at the Raft start point,
you will be met by our rafting crews and
commence rafting.
The Trishuli River with magnificent valleys,
beautiful gorges, exhilarating rapids and
the combination of easier and moderately
harder sections is one of the most popular
of Nepal's raftable rivers. Your rafting
trip lasts for 3 to 4 hours.
Savory lunch will be served.
End Rafting and Drive to POKHARA ( approx.
3 hours leisurely drive ).On arrival in
POKHARA , transfer to hotel.
Evening : 1 hour long scenic boatride on
the famous Fewa Lake, the second largest
lake in the Kingdom.
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 :
Begin you day with the magnificent views
of sunrise over the Annapurna massifs and
Fishtial Mountain from the hotel garden
itself.
Breakfast at Hotel.
AM : Sightseeing tour of POKHARA including
Barahi Temple- built on
an island and dedicated to the boar manifestation
of Ajima, Bindyabasini Temple
- dedicated to Goddess Baghwati, Seti
River Gorge - a surprisingly deep
and narrow gorge made by Seti River, Mahendra
cave - a large limestone cave also
known a s House of Bats.
PM : Sightseeing tour of POKHARA including
World Peace Pagoda (2 hours
walk) - an impressive and massif stupa from
where the views of Annapurna Range and POKHARA
valley are just splendid, Devis
Fall - also known as Patale Chhango
is a thrilling waterfall, Gupteswar
Gupha - a sacred cave about 3 km
long with phallic symbol of Lord Shiva.
Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 :
Once again, you may begin you day with
the magnificent views of sunrise over the
Annapurna massifs and Fishtial Mountain
from the hotel garden itself.
Breakfast at Hotel.
Later you will drive to Kathmandu. You may
stop for lunch enroute.
On arrival in Kathmandu , transfer to hotel.
