THE ANNAPURNA SANCTUARY

The trek up to the Annapurna Base Camp is classic and adventurous walk right into the heart of the mountains. The walk ends at a point where you are virtually surrounded by soaring Himalayan peaks. At one time this trek was real expedition into an uninhabited wilderness area, but now there is a string of lodge that operate during the trekking season. The return trip from the Jomsom or Annapurna Circuit treks.
