Dhaulagiri

DHAULAGIRI

This is a long trekking tour to the foot of the Dhaulagiri taking us to the base camp of one of the fourteen "eight thousand" of the world, the White Goddess or Dhaulagiri. We enjoy the first views of the impressive eastern wall of the mountain. Once we get to the base camp, we shall see the gigantic northern wall, as well as the Dhaulagiri I the III and the IV. The trekking tour shall carry on until the French Pass (5360m) and will end in the valley of Kali Gandaki, Marpha and Jomsom, from where we shall fly again to Pokhara. Highland lovers will find this an ideal trekking tour for they will encounter no population at all during certain stages.
