THE
ROYAL TREK
Difficulty
Degree
:
Highest Elevation :
2500m
This short trek has been designed for people
who do not have time to go on a 2/3 week trek
or have no previous experience and prefer
to go on mini trek and find out if they would
really be capable of covering longer route.
It is known as the Royal Trek because the
British Prince Charles went on it several
years ago, which has made it very popular
with the local people. In any case, the trek
goes through a very quite area, little visited
by tourists and with very good views of the
mountains. It begins in the village of Bijayapur
(600m), about 5km from Pokhara, and ends at
Begnas Bazaar beside Lake Begnas.
